A woman who was almost four times over the drink-drive limit when she crashed her car on the Mountain Road will be sentenced in May.
Hannah Clare Lewis of Eairy Veg in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 42 year old admitted drink-driving near Windy Corner on March 25.
The court heard motorists called police shortly before 10pm to report a Skoda Superb had come off the road and was in a ditch – when officers arrived Lewis was still inside.
She admitted she’d been drinking and tests later gave a reading of 137 – the legal limit is 35.
She was bailed in the sum of £500 with a condition not to drive, and she’ll appear in court again on May 23.
