A woman from St Johns will appear in court again next month after admitting hitting a bouncer with her shoes.
Shynia Forrester-McElevey of Tynwald Close appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
She admitted disorderly behaviour on licensed premises, and a charge of causing actual bodily harm was withdrawn.
Prosecutor Roger Kane told the hearing the 21 year old was drinking in Jaks in Douglas just before 12.30am on November 1 when she got into an argument with a woman.
When bouncers tried to break it up, she hit one of them with her shoes, which she was carrying in her hands.
Mr Kane said the prosecution accepted she hadn’t taken her shoe off to use as a weapon.
Magistrates bailed her while probation reports are prepared, and she’s next due to appear in court on January 7.
