'With heavy heart' The Courthouse announce permanent closure

The Courthouse will officially close its doors for the last time this weekend.

In a post on social media, the bar and restaurant has announced the news 'with an extremely heavy heart.'

It says its last open will be this Saturday (feb 11).

The Courthouse re-opened in May 2022, but says its 'no longer able to continue this journey.'

Meating Steakhouse - which is based inside the Courthouse - says it will move back into its original premises, on Broadway.

Those behind the venture add 'thank you for the memories and we hope to see you soon.'
