The Manx Wildlife Trust has issued a statement on the proposed windfarm at Earystane and Scard.
The charity says it's 'trusting and expecting' the government to carry out full ecological surveys and impact assessments before anything is agreed.
It adds that it's delighted that this is being driven forward as the journey to Net Zero is 'a vital one.'
The Trust will continue to have private communications with the government, 'with the best interests of wildlife at heart.'
