The chair of Manx Utilities says putting up wind turbines would mean cutting down trees.
In the House of Keys this week, John Wannenburgh faced questions from Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse about tree feeling needed to get turbines to Earystane.
Mr Wannenburgh told members the project will have a positive impact on the environment.
