A piece of equipment which helps to establish the best locations for wind turbines has taken shelter in Douglas Bay.
Excalibur is waiting for a weather window so it can continue its work on the Walney Wind Farm.The barge takes core samples of the seabed to establish the best location for the turbines.
It will be working in the area for the winter and will use the bay for shelter as and when required.
