The Island's ability to deal with mutated strains of Covid-19 will be discussed by Tynwald next week.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge will ask Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, if he'll publish the Council of Ministers' strategy for dealing with new variants of Coronavirus.
The Chief Minister confirmed last week that one case of a new strain of the virus from the UK known to be more transmissable was identified locally last year in someone who'd returned to the Island.
But Mr Quayle insisted there was no evidence of onward transmission as the person was already self-isolating.
Meanwhile, the subject will be covered when the court meets for a virtual sitting next Tuesday (January 19) from 10.30am.
