That's the question Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson in the House of Keys next week.
It comes as Manx Telecom has raised the price of some of its services - with some shooting up by 12.5 per cent.
The increases apply to copper broadband, fixed line services, legacy mobile tariffs and paper billing charges.
Manx Telecom cited it down to 'ongoing, mounting global and national inflationary cost pressures.'
