Douglas North MHK David Ashford will put the question to Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas in Tynwald tomorrow.
It comes following reports of people finding it difficult to secure a driving instructor, with backlogs of up to 6-12 months.
Tynwald will sit tomorrow morning at 10am.
