Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a weather warning for later today, as winds drive waves onto coast roads.
The yellow warning runs from 2pm until 6pm during high tides.
Forecasters say gales may mean coastal overtopping in areas around the Island.
Particularly at risk are Shore Road in Rushen, Fenella Beach in Peel, Castletown promenade and the northern end of Douglas promenade.
