Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for tomorrow morning.
The warning, for coastal overtopping, comes into effect from 11am on Tuesday and runs until 3pm.
Strong to gale force southerly winds could wash waves onto exposed areas, leaving water and debris.
Areas most likely to be affected include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades, and central and northern parts of Douglas Promenade.
