A weather warning has been issued for coastal overtopping and gales.
The yellow warning will be in place from 8am tomorrow morning until 12pm on Saturday.
Forecasters predict all of the Island will be affected by minor wind damage - but particularly Shore Road, Castletown Promenade, the Northern end of Douglas Promenade and Laxey.
South-southwest winds will increase to gale force overnight into Friday - with gusts reaching up to 60mph.
