Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for this morning.
Forecasters say winds and tides could combine to bring waves washing onto roads in exposed areas.
The warning runs from 8am until midday today.
Areas most at risk include Shore Road in Rushen, the northern end of Douglas Promenade, as well as promenades in Castletown, Laxey and Ramsey.
