TT organisers say they're hopeful the weather will improve enough for practicing to go ahead tonight.
A schedule was released yesterday showing the Mountain Road closing at 4.45pm and the rest of the course shut for 6pm.
However, torrential rain this morning has led to doubts over the practice session going ahead.
Race officials say the weather looks set to improve and they'll issue an update at 3.45pm.
