Water supplies restored after burst

Manx Utilities said water supplies are being restored after problems in the Douglas area this morning.

A company spokesman said engineers have isolated the issue and water supplies are being restored. 

It comes after a supply problem this morning in some properties in the area of Cronk Y Berry/Glen Park, Governors Hill and Williston.

Manx Utilities has thanked customers for their patience adding: "If anyone has discoloured water after restoration you can run your downstairs cold water tap until it clears". 

Engineers have isolated the issue with the water supply affecting areas of Douglas and water should be restored in the next 30 minutes. If anyone has discoloured water after restoration you can run your downstairs cold water tap until it clears. Thank you for your patience.
