 
                            Swimming in the sea water at Peel could have a direct impact on the health of bathers.
That’s the verdict from Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne who says although not proven, it is possible.
Currently the sewage outfall lies within 300 metres of the bathing area .
Onchan MHK Peter Karran raised questions on the subject in the House of Keys yesterday – criticising the low water standards.
