There's a warning to TT fans only to book homestay accommodation through official channels - after concerns over a scammer advertising a property that wasn't theirs.
A Facebook group for fans with more than 320,000 members featured the post before taking it down after being contacted by the authorities.
It offered a three-bedroomed house near Signpost Corner for this year's festival - and asked for deposits up front.
However, group admins removed the post and are now reminding fans not to trust social media posts and book through the Isle of Man TT Homestay website.
