TT visitors and residents are being reminded of the restrictions in place concerning the storage of petrol.
The Office of Fair Trading says there are specific rules in place meaning people are not allowed to store more than 10 litres.
It says it’s particularly concerned that racing fuel is being stored illegally in domestic properties without the required licence.
To assist TT competitors over the next fortnight a secure
temporary licensed store has been organised.
Anyone who is found to be exceeding the limit will have the liquid confiscated and could face legal action.
