Warning over Port Erin Beach work

Port Erin Commissioners are asking people to stay away from part of the town's beach this weekend.

Works to move sand will be taking place from the Quarterdeck up to the Raglan Pier this Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29.

The local authority says heavy machinery will be used, and to avoid the area while work is going on.

It adds you should keep dogs well away and make sure they're under control.
