An MHK has put forward an urgent question about the Steam Packet's fuel charges for the House of Keys next week.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse will ask Chief Minister Alf Cannan under what circumstances the Steam Packet increases fuel surcharges.
He's also asking what powers government has to control these charges, and whether the company advised treasury about a coming 25.8 percent increase.
The House of Keys will sit from 10am on Tuesday, March 31 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
