Douglas Council is asking people to take care on the beach as it shifts sand around from next week.
Re-profiling work will get underway from Tuesday, July 7 between Broadway and the Empress Hotel.
Heavy machinery will be moving sand from the seawall to the Loch Promenade end of the beach.
Members of the public are being asked to steer clear of the work and keep dogs under close control at all times.
