A yellow weather warning will be in place tonight with gale-force winds expected to hit the Island.
Ronaldsway Met Office says the notice comes into force at 7pm until 9am tomorrow morning (June 6).
Forecasters say gusts of up to 50mph can be expected in many places which will slowly ease during Saturday morning.
Residents are warned the winds could potentially damage or bring down trees and that outdoor furniture could be at risk of being blown away.
