The Island's Fire and Rescue Service is advising people to keep their windows and doors closed in Braddan as it deals with an incident.
On Facebook, it says crews are dealing with an ongoing fire in Union Mills.
It says the footpath along the heritage railway line is currently closed until further notice.
No further details have yet been released.
