Warning goes out to dog owners

A call has gone out to dog owners to keep them under control when walking in the countryside.

DEFA have put the plea out, asking that dogs are kept on the lead when walking near farmland, this is a year round concern but of particular importance during lambing season.

You're reminded that any dog regardless of breed or size has the capacity to cause problems, with numerous reports of sheep attacks over the past few years.
