Police are asking drivers to be careful on the Mountain Road this afternoon.
A short time ago on Facebook officers said a vehicle had come off the road between the Veranda and the Bungalow.
The road has been closed between the Creg Ny Baa and the Hairpin until 4pm.
The Department of Infrastructure says fog and poor visibility has made recovering the car hard - motorists are being asked to remain cautious.
