Wallaby population 'thriving'

One of the Isle of Man's greatest quirks, its wallaby population, is continuing to thrive in the north of the Island.

It's estimated there are currently well over 100 which are predominantly based around the Sulby Claddaghs area.
 
It all started with two rogue wallabies escaping from the park in the 1970s - they've now been spotted as far south as The Braaid. 
 
We asked Manx Wildlife Trust director Duncan Bridges if the growing number is a cause for concern:
