As lambing season starts, dog walkers are asked to be more mindful.
Police have issued a reminder as pregnant ewes are moved to fields closer to towns where they can be watched over by their farmers.
Those who walk their dogs along the old railway lines or on other public paths should be particularly aware and keep their pets on leads.
Owners are also urged to not exercise their dogs in fields that don't belong to them.
