Economic Minister Alan Bell says through new media they are attracting a new younger audience.
The Department of Economic Development have spoken to 3FM about establishing a strong online presence through social media.
Specifically their Visit Isle of Man page has been a major success attracting over 10,000 'likes'
Various content is shared through the page including photos, videos, news stories, upcoming events and relevant Isle of Man links.
The Visit Isle of Man twitter feed is also proving popular with over 1,500 followers to date.
