A free concert at the Villa Marina next month will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Musicians, schoolchildren and the Royal British Legion will all be involved in celebrations with a two-hour concert and service.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan will light a commemorative beacon in the Villa Marina grounds to mark the event.
The commemoration will take place on Thursday, May 8 from 7pm - you can book your free tickets via the Villa Marina website or by calling 600555.
