A consultation has been launched to help develop ways that Port st Mary and Port Erin could change and become more appealing for local people and visitors.
The consultation is being run in accordance with the South-West Regeneration Committee aswell as Costain Heritage and Hugh Logan Architects.
The funding of any work would be supplied by the Government's £8 million regeneration fund, set aside for the Island's towns and villages.
Aswell as improving the two Port's work will also be carried out to find ways to improve retail areas, car parking issues and possible improvements to the harbours.
The opinion of the public will be gathered via online questionnaires, major street consultation and focus group meetings across the Island.
When the consultation period has finished the findings will be presented at an exhibition in January.
