Douglas South MHK Claire Christian has announced she'll defend her seat in the general election.
Ms Christian says there's still more work to be done in government after the progress she's made.
Among her future priorities she lists maintaining strong public finances, housing affordability and economic growth.
The Island is due to go the polls on Thursday, September 24.
