A local charity is encouraging people to share their lunch costs in lockdown.
Victim Support Isle of Man says following the 2020 lockdown, it saw a sharp upsurge in referrals and contacts and expects it to be no different this time around.
It forecasts a 5 per cent rise in referrals, a 25 per cent increase in contacts and an anticipated 7 per cent increase in domestic abuse referrals.
The direct cost to the charity, which relies heavily on fundraising, grants, and donations, is just shy of £13,500.
