Manx Utilities has applied for permission to store vehicles at three of its substations.
The organisation has submitted planning applications for substations on Ronague Road in Ballabeg, Minorca Hill in Laxey and Clenagh Road in Sulby.
In each case, it's asked for an additional use of the facilities.
In the applications, it says it wants to park or store Manx Utilities vehicles on the land.
