There are plans to install electric vehicle charging points outside Police Headquarters.
A planning application has been put forward to create two bays to house electric cars outside the premises on Dukes Avenue in Douglas.
In its proposals, Manx Utilities says whilst it will involve cutting away part of the grass verges outside the facility it won't affect any of the surrouding trees.
The plans are now subject to approval.
