There'll be urgent questions in Tynwald about the future of the Family Library in Douglas next week.
When the court sits on Tuesday, Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will ask a member of the Department of Education, Sport and Culture about talks with the facility about financial support.
It comes after the library revealed it would close for good at the end of July unless £100,000 a year in funding could be found.
Tynwald is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
