An urgent question regarding the announcement of strike action by a teaching union will be asked in the House of Keys.
MHK Jason Moorhouse wants to know how the Department of Education will respond and what the impact will be in schools.
He will also ask whether a timetable is in place to meet all teaching unions.
Last week, the NASUWT announced six days of strike action at the end of the month in a dispute over pay and workload.
The House of Keys will sit this morning at 10am.
