Unprovoked assault on man in Douglas

Police are appealing for information after an unprovoked assault which took place in Douglas in the early hours of Sunday, April 1st.

In what police call a "completely unprovoked attack” a man in his mid 20s was assaulted as he walked home along Loch Promenade between Quids Inn and Jaks.  

The man was punched and kicked to the floor by three to four males who then continued the assault leaving him with injuries to his head and side which required hospital treatment. 

The suspects are believed to have been wearing light blue denim jeans but the victim was unable to describe them any further or say which direction they ran off in.
