Unite the Union Isle of Man is pleading to the public to protect our bus drivers from Coronavirus.
It comes following some drivers across the Island testing positive for the virus, with some self-isolating and others instructed to do so.
The union - which represents 1.42 million people across Britain works to protect workers rights & negotiate with employers and government.
In a post on social media, the union is now urging the public to be 'proactive' when travelling - to protect drivers, the public and its members.
It asks people to wear face coverings correctly throughout journeys and to maintain social distancing at all times.
Further, it urges people to avoid using cash and only travel if absolutely necessary.
Debbie Halsall the Regional Officer of Unite spoke to 3FM:
?????????????????????????????????? WE ARE MAKING AN APPEAL TODAY FOR EVERYONE TO READ THIS POST AND BE PROACTIVE ON WHAT WE ARE ASKING...
