A motorist from Union Mills has admitted seriously injuring a biker after a crash at Derbyhaven.
23-year-old Alexander Atherton appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week where he pleaded guilty to a charge of causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care or consideration.
His car collided with the motorbike rider on August 14th last year.
Social enquiry reports have now been requested before Atherton is sentenced on May 10th.
