The Island's Trades Union Council says the Cabinet Office should release details of millions of pounds paid out to former government workers.
The call from the TUC comes after the Information Commissioner asked the government to look again at its refusal to provide details about the £2 million paid to 27 workers after a Freedom of Information request.
On Facebook, the union body accused the Cabinet Office of hiding behind a flawed interpretation of the law to avoid scrutiny.
And it says as well as the information being published, it wants to see an independent audit of all government settlements from the last five years.
