Unattended cooker sparks fire call out

Firefighters from four stations were called to an incident in Ramsey this morning.

They were called to the Lezayre Estate just after 11.20am after reports of smoke coming from the Kerroo Glass Apartments.

On arrival they found no one was in the property - the cause of the incident was identified as the oven and hob having been left on and unattended.
