Long-term delays to the roll out of smart energy meters in the UK is not expected to affect the Island.
That's according to Chair of Manx Utilities, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, following reports in Britain this week the roll out of the devices across the water have been set back by four years to 2024.
Manx Utilities announced last month its major investment in new meters to replace older key-based ones across the Isle of Man.
The first installations are due to get underway in 2020.
