Popular acts from top UK agents are seeing the Villa Gaiety in Douglas as a 'high-calibre venue'.
That's according to Education, Sport & Culture Minister, Graham Cregeen MHK, in response to a question about the theatre in the House of Keys earlier this week.
Mr Cregeen went on to say the complex is currently experiencing the busiest programme it's ever had - adding whilst it's great news for officials and the community, it means it has led to fewer bookings of particular acts to maintain variety.
His comments were in written response to Douglas East MHK Clare Barber who'd quizzed him about bookings at the facility.
