UK Postal Strikes to Cause Island Delays
As reported earlier on in the week a UK-wide Postal Strike is set to cause delays for deliveries to the Island.
The strike action centres around pay and work disputes.
A strike started yesterday which is likely to cause delays early on in the week, there is then to be another day of action on Wednesday.
Although no Island workers are taking part it anticipated there will be significant delays in UK post reaching the Island this week.
Hospital bed occupancy falls
Average bed occupancy at Noble's Hospital has fallen since 2023.
