A major shareholder and former director of a Manx finance company is under investigation in the UK over his role in the Brexit Leave campaign.
The National Crime Agency says it's launched a probe into Arron Banks, who owns 29 per cent of the Manx Financial Group - which includes companies such as Conister Bank and Edgewater Associates.
Mr Banks has previously denied any wrongdoing over loans made to the unofficial leave campaign.
In a statement, the NCA says it can't release further details now the investigation is underway.
