A man from Essex will stand trial after being accused of historical child sex offences.
50 year old David Cecil La Roche, of Pollards Close in Rochford, appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
He's been charged with indecently assaulting a boy under the age of 16 and three other serious sex offences.
The offences were allegedly carried out between January 1983 and December 1984.
Committal proceedings - where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery - will take place on September 12.
He's been bailed until then.
