A man from Oldham has appeared in court charged with smuggling five kilos of cannabis to the Island.
Gary Ian Chadderton, who is 59 years old, from Turf Lane in Greater Manchester appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to one count of being concerned in producing a class B drug after being caught with cannabis on September 4.
Mr Chadderton was remanded in custody and committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery to be sentenced on November 1.
