The UK says it's done a deal with Europe over the Irish Sea herring fishery for the next year.
The country's fisheries minister Dame Angela Eagle says the negotiations involved the UK, Norway and the European Union.
She says the UK secured the commercially viable total allowable catch for Irish Sea herring in the face of what she called "challenging scientific evidence".
And she added the agreement will introduce new technical measures for vessels from the EU and UK to reduce overfishing.
