The UK government has been accused of meddling with Manx laws over assisted dying.
Tynwald passed the law last March but is still waiting for Lord Chancellor David Lammy to recommend it's given Royal Assent.
Responding to a Freedom of Information request in the UK, the Labour government said it's written to the Island 12 times in around 10 months with questions about the legislation.
However, it wouldn't release the contents of the letters, saying it would breach confidentiality and could affect the UK's relationship with Crown Dependencies.
