A vote on giving an extra £15 million to Manx Care will come before Tynwald in July.
The vote on approving extra funds, to cover the health service's overspend, was originally planned for March.
However it was blocked by Tynwald members, who wanted more information about how the money would be spent.
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson explained the delay was because the department needed to finalise its financial reports for this year:
